Fun a Day Dundee Online Exhibition 31st July 2020 until 2nd August 2020

During the month of January I took part in Fun a Day Dundee which is a project that anyone can take part, so there were artists, crafters, performers, writers, etc  which has led to over 100 diverse individual projects.

My project is titled ….. “My Dundee from A to Z”.  I was interested in trying different media and styles as I worked through my Dundee alphabet.

An exhibition of the Fun a Day Dundee work was scheduled to be shown in April 2020 but due to the pandemic was cancelled. However, the Fun a Day Dundee team have decided to hold an online exhibition to showcase the work.

My Penguin Journey....

I was really delighted to be part of the Maggie’s Penguin Parade. I was commissioned to paint the Dundee Football Club Penguin wearing the latest Dundee FC strip.

The Dundee Football Club Penguin, sponsored by Winter and Simpson Print, was located at City Quay until September. After that he made his way to the new V & A to be auctioned, raising much needed funds to support the Maggie Centre Dundee.
